Eid ul-Adha Mubarak

Eid ul-Adha 1437

They ask you (O Muhammad [PBUH]) what they should spend. Say: “Whatever you spend of good must be for parents and kindred and orphans and Al-Masaakeen (the poor) and the wayfarer, and whatever you do of good deeds, truly, Allaah knows it well.”  Translation of the Holy Qur’an 2:215

This verse reminds us to spend some of our excess wealth on our parents, relatives, orphans, and the poor.  We are reminded to do good deeds for the Sake Allaah, God Almighty, and He is a witness to all our actions, hears our words, and knows our every thought.  We are also warned that our good deeds should be done with humility and respecting the dignity of the recipient.

What better way this there to repay God for the many blessing He bestows on us than by helping those in need.
